The EcoFlow RIVER 3 (UPS) Solar Generator (PV60W) is a compact, lightweight, and high-performance portable power station designed for both everyday and emergency use. It features a 245Wh LiFePO₄ battery that supports up to 3,000 full charge cycles, offering around 10 years of daily use before reaching 80% capacity. With a 300W AC output (boostable to 600W using X-Boost), the RIVER 3 can power most small to medium devices, including laptops, lights, Wi-Fi routers, and mini-fridges. The system includes a built-in UPS function that ensures automatic switchover in under 20 milliseconds, providing uninterrupted power to critical electronics during outages.

The power station is extremely quiet, operating at under 30 decibels thanks to its efficient X-GaN power technology, and is about 30% smaller than average models in its class, weighing just 3.55 kg (7.8 lbs). It offers four charging methods: AC wall outlet, car charger, solar panel, and generator input. Charging is fast and flexible—0 to 100% in about 1 hour via AC, and approximately 2.6 hours using the included 60W solar panel, which is portable, durable, and ideal for off-grid setups. The solar panel folds for easy storage and is designed for outdoor conditions.

Built for real-world use, the RIVER 3 is housed in a fire-retardant, drop-resistant, and IP54-rated enclosure, providing protection against water splashes, dust, and accidental drops. Its internal X-Guard battery management system includes over 40 safety protections against issues like overcurrent, overvoltage, and overheating. Smart control is available via the EcoFlow mobile app and software, allowing users to monitor energy usage, set charging parameters, and receive system alerts via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
